Paint For You

This three hour workshop at The Art Club at Dukes of West Barns on Saturday, 13 September, is a beginners acrylic painting workshop designed for people who don't think they can paint, or for those who are nervous about making a start. It is for anyone who would like to engage with creativity in a gentle, supportive and unintimidating way. During the three hours, we will learn about art materials, explore mark making, tone, shading, texture and form. Using acrylic paints, we will work towards creating a finished seascape painting on canvas to take home. We will carry out a range of different techniques, approaches and exercises. We will explore finding our own creative language and discover what we enjoy. Through demonstrations and guidance, I will provide feedback to help you achieve the most from the workshop.
